National Trails Day at the Carolina Thread Trail

When: Saturday, June 5 – 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Cost: FREE

Celebrate the importance of trails, nature, and physical activity in this annual event that includes guided nature and history walks, bike tours, yoga, kayaking, and more. For more information check out the Carolina Thread Trail website.

Full Moon Paddle hosted by Aquatic Adventures

When: Wednesday, June 23 – 8:00-10:00 p.m. (Beginners) and Thursday, June 24 – 9:00-11:00 p.m. (Experienced)

Cost: $45/person or $80/couple

Take a relaxing, guided 60-minute kayak tour on the Catawba River and enjoy the full moon. No kayak experience necessary. Spots are limited, so head to the Aquatic Adventures website to learn more and sign up.

RunCharlotte Summer Track Series

When: Every Tuesday in June (5 Weeks) – 6:00 p.m.

Cost: Adults $39 (or $10 for single week), Students $23 (or $7 for single week), Kids 10 & Under FREE

Mt. Holly Mile Open Water Race

When: Saturday, July 10

Cost: $55

Aqua Rock Deep Water Solo Climbing Competition

When: Saturday, July 17

Cost: $35

Rock climbing enthusiasts of all levels can take on this free climb challenge over a 20 foot deep pool at the Whitewater Center. Registration and scheduling information is available at the Whitewater website.
