Charlotte’s Dog Jog
When: Saturday, March 5 – 11:00 a.m.
Cost: $30 (Adult + Dog), $25 (Adult), $18 (12 and under)
Whether you want to compete with your four-legged friend, or just go for a jog and pet all the dogs along the way, come on out to this 5K run at McAlpine Creek Park. Registration information can be found here.
Color Me Green 5K Run
When: Saturday, March 12 – 9:00 a.m.
Cost: $37 (Competitive), $35 (Recreational)
No need to wear your own green – color will be provided for you at this 5K trail run at the Whitewater Center! Head here to sign up for the race.
Whitewater Triathlon
When: Saturday, April 9 – 7:30/8:00 a.m.
Cost: $70 (Full), $65 (Sprint)
Another great event at the U.S. National Whitewater Center, athletes can choose between a full triathlon (1K open water swim, 23K mountain bike ride, 6.5K trail run) and the sprint option (400m open water swim, 12K mountain bike ride, 3K train run). 2022 O’CRUD Open Water Race
When: Saturday, May 7
Cost: 10K – $125, 2.4 Mile – $85
The first race in the 2022 Charlotte Open Water Swim Series, the O’CRUD race offers two distances, both starting at the Mount Holly Boat Landing and swimming half upstream, half downstream. Check out the Charlotte Open Water Facebook page to learn more.
Run! Ballantyne 8K, 5K, and Fun Run
When: Saturday, May 14 – 7:00-11:00 a.m.
Cost: $35 (8K), $30 (5K), $15 (Fun Run)
With three different race options to choose from, this annual YMCA fundraising event is suitable for runners of all ages. Races take place within Ballantyne Corporate Park. Registration information is available here.
